The Arizona Coyotes are coming off of a 3-2 shootout loss against Columbus on Saturday night.

For Mike Smith, it was a record-breaking night.

Smith made a franchise-record 58 saves on 60 shots and, thanks to Smith, the Coyotes were able to get a point in the loss.

Mike Smith has a 4-2-3 record, and has helped get the Coyotes points in seven of his ten starts this year.

Tonight, the Yotes are heading to Columbus to take on the Blue Jackets in the second half of their home-and-home series.

The Blue Jackets have won their last three games and are just four points behind the first-place Montreal Canadiens.

Nick Foligno leads the Blue Jackets in goals with nine and is tied with Cam Atkinson for the team lead in points with 21.

Arizona’s lineup will look a little different this time around against the Blue Jackets.

Brendan Perlini was recalled on Sunday, and he will be making his NHL debut tonight for the Yotes.

Perlini was Novembers’ Rookie of the Month in the AHL, and he’s tied for the league-lead in goals with eleven.

Louis Domingue will get the start in goal tonight against the Blue Jackets.

Domingue has 4-8-1 record this year with a 3.21 goals against average.

The Coyotes will likely start Smith tomorrow night when they head to Chicago to play the Blackhawks.

Tonight’s puck drop is at 7 p.m. EST.
